Our 2009 Lake County Cabernet is featured on the cover of Wine Spectator Magazine

Over the past year, the Wine Spectator editors featured only three wines on their magazine covers – out of the 15,000 they tasted! We\'re proud that our 2009 Lake County Cab was one of them. Lake County is gaining prominence as a great region for Cabernet, and ours is well worth discovering (or revisiting!) in 2014.

Stephane comments on the 2007 Derenoncourt Coombsville Syrah

Syrah rarely achieves greatness in California. But when it does, it soars, displaying floral aromas, bright complex flavors and - most importantly - a vibrant freshness. Few vintners on earth know Merlot as well as Stephane does. He built his global reputation on making some of the world's most coveted Merlots. Stephane considers the 2007 to be marked by a velvety sensuality, one of his most exciting expressions of the grape to date.

Stephane comments on the 2007 Derenoncourt Coombsville Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc, one of Stephane's favorite varietals, is a difficult grape to grow, even in Europe, and only the great terroirs are capable of making great Cab Franc. Stephane fulfilled a dream by finding such a property in Napa, and he loves the immense complexity the vines offered in 2007.
